2013 Spring Recreational Soccer Season Information-Updated 3/25

Nic Cardosa, one of our exceptional professional coaches, will be leading the sessions for U8 and U10 clinics. U6 clinic will be held on Fridays with Coach Kevin Menser. U12 and up will be with Coach Austin King on Fridays also on field 7. We highly recommend coaches utilitze the clinic as one of your practice times. All clinics will will focus on technical skills.

2013 Spring Recreational Soccer registration is now closed. Please contact the Club Manager (clubmanager@gulfcoasttexans.com) if you wish to be placed on a waiting list.

Locations: U6 and U8 games will be played at Ashton Brosnaham Park. U10 and up will play at Ashton Brosnaham Park and Futbol Club Santa Rosa in Pace.

Ages: U6, U8, U10, U12, U14 and U18 (High School Division)

Roster Size:

• U6 - 6 on a team
• U8 - 8 on a team
• U10 - 10 on a team
• U12 - 12 on a team
• U14 - 15 on a team
• U18 - 15 on a team

Duration: 9 games plus an end of sesason tournament

Format:

• U6 play 3v3 (4v4 if coaches agree for heavily rostered teams)
• U8 play 4v4 (5v5 if coaches agree for heavily rostered teams)
• U10 play 6v6
• U12 play 8v8
• U14 play 11v11 (if enough players)
• U18 play 6v6 PLAY ON FRIDAY NIGHTS

Cost: $80.00 per player before February 15th. $95.00 per player from February 15th through March 2nd.

Uniforms: $35.00 per player if you don't have one. Kit includes red jersey, white jersey, black shorts, and black socks.

Clinics: Players are also offered an optional and free weekly "skills clinic" by one of our professional coaches (Nic Cardoso) from our competitive program the Gulf Coast Texans. Coaches are highly encouraged to use one night of clinic as one of the team's weekly practices.

Important Dates:

• 1/15 to 2/15: Registration online below
• 2/2, 2/9: Saturday registrations at Ashton Brosnaham Park from 9am - 12pm
• 2/16 - 3/2: Late Registration ($95.00)
• 2/23: Mandatory coaches meeting/training and rosters distributed/players contacted
• 2/25: Practices begin
• 3/16: Games begin
